MESSAGE FROM THE SECRETARY-GENERAL
It is with utmost pleasure and privilege that I invite you to the Eleventh Session of Ghana International Model United Nations (GIMUN 2020). Next year’s conference which will be hosted at Ghana’s premier University; the University of Ghana – Legon, from 2nd – 5th January, 2020 under the theme; “Bridging the Transformational Gap”.
We at GIMUN are strong believers in continuously thriving for excellence in all disciplines. Over the years, we have been dedicated to grooming generations of phenomenal leaders, holistic problem solvers, diplomats, politicians, and men and women of influence. Indeed, after nine successful sessions of GIMUN, once again, we are very much ready to engage our participants with the most exhilarating experience.
The theme for the conference aims at encouraging all of us to engage in meaningful and impactful debate envisaged at improving quality of lives. With our culturally diverse and experienced officials and distinguished guests from the United Nations, the Academia, the Diplomatic Corp and Policy Makers, delegates at GIMUN 2020 will have the opportunity to experience the intricacies of international relations and diplomacy.
Regardless of your MUN experience, provisions have been made in terms of human resource and logistics to ensure all delegates are placed on an even playing field to showcase their oratory, research, and negotiation skills.
GIMUN 2020 promises to be exciting with the right mélange of learning and socio-cultural events.
